Ugh. I’m so tired of this building. Be done with it already.

Also, I think it’s twee that they bothered to tell us they’re closing the only sidewalk bordering the building now. I don’t recall the pronouncement when they took up Front & Trinity for the 67 years it’s taken to get this far.

Also, with Shoppers slated to go into Reikai centre (by 2093 -when funding is secure- I heard) retail tenants are anyone’s guess now.

I would not be surprised if a Shopper's or Rexall goes in when the Long Term Care home starts construction right beside this building. They really need to get that car dealership out of there as well. That's a lot of space that could be used for affordable housing.

I also originally read that they planned to have some affordable units in this building but have not seen or heard anything since it was originally mentioned before construction began.

This is supposed to be market rate AND affordable rental from the get go. Unsure if that’s changed

I suspect that smaller building at 90 Mill Street could be affordable housing but I'm not sure if that's correct.

On Toronto's official website, their Site Plan Control PDF states:

"A total of 257 (30%) of the rental dwelling units in the overall development will be affordable rental dwelling units. The affordable rental units will be constructed generally in accordance with the dwelling unit plans accepted by City staff and secured as a condition of Site Plan approval."

I'm sure that smaller square building at 90 Mill Street is big enough for 257 units. That pdf is also from 2021 and things often change as construction carries on through years.
