When buildings are affordable rental, and they have all these perks like pet spas, do the maintenance costs just get tacked on to the rent, and is that what makes them less affordable and tougher to maintain occupancy on? (Basing that on Maple House etc still working to get full up)
I still remember looking at Maple House when they finally posted their rental prices. Then I was like, yikes. I'll pass.

As for Cherry House, I think it will be pricey. Their registration pages says this:

"Lounge by the rooftop pool, recharge in the state-of-the-art fitness centre or unwind in the cherry blossom-adorned courtyard. Plus, the convenience of exciting on-site retail brings shopping, dining and entertainment right to your doorstep."

Are all other rentals competing with stuff like this?
 
I just desperately want sidewalks back. I don’t think drivers get it. When they close the Gardiner that’s for repairs that benefit drivers.

But sidewalks? Nah man, that’s like 5 years for someone else’s profit, and maybe they’ll make it nice after (at which point some utility will go “oh, you forgot us, now we have to rip it up and throw down asphalt”)

Howdy: Don’t know if everyone else already knows this but there is a Shoppers going into this project confirmed by someone working there.
Yay. But also, I hate that it’ll go in a project light years from completion.
