They are still testing spotted this 30 seconds ago

It has been close to a month since anything was reported about this line... a curious silence ! Line 5 must be grabbing everyone's betting dollars..
That said, when I came down the 400 yesterday, there were trams visible out on the line. Wonder what the timing is for this line ?

I was out on the line last week, I observed the trains out with TTC drivers doing a simulated service (stopping at all stops, opening doors, etc) with maybe 10-15 minute frequency? Hard to say on that last part as I was moving around. Still plently of roadworks to be done but I'm not sure how that conflicts with operation of the line.

Yes the section infront of the MPP's office there, between weston and signet/arrow is the only area that still hasn't been constructed (roadway, the guideway is long done). I suspect there are issues with CP, otherwise I can't imagine why they haven't done anything yet.

I've been seeing broken windows on several stops for months now. Glad it's finally getting attention.

It's a fundamental characteristic of an operational TTC line...

The area under the CP bridge seems untouched for months

The only works I've noted are sidewalk works at weston, and work on the retaining wall/ramp on the SW corner of signet/arrow. There was some utility work back in the winter, but I've not seen any major work there in at least a year. The designs exist, so I presume there is just some issue with CP.

So trains (streetcars) do get stuck behind red lights...

Not sure signal priority is turned on yet since the line isn't in operation.

I know it's a small thing but it bothers me that they didn't stick with red and white for the LRTs. It's politics, Metrolinx wanting to show off that they funded this.

If they are "testing" or "operating as if in revenue service", then the traffic signals on Line 6 (and Line 5) should be turned on for transit priority NOW.
