Is it closed for signage installation or something else?

Edit: they’re fixing a barrier on the southern side of the Yellowhead mainline lanes. I think it’s at that spot where a drunk driver crashed his car and it started a fire.

I think this project is years away. The City has not initiated any utility relocations yet, so I bet 2026 construction starts for utilities at best.
Their latest schedule (posted May 2024) had 66 Street being a 2025-2026 construction.
 
Update: Looks like Yellowhead Trail is now fully open west of the St. Alert Trail interchange. Speed limit is 80 km/hr. I think they still need to install some more overhead signs, especially for the exits to St. Albert Trail, 149 St and 156 St.
