I really like how this pic/view gives a feeling of a pedestrian trail leading to the centre of the city with beautiful landscaping framing it on each side.

Earlier on the park seemed smaller, but as more of it is getting completed, it's feeling bigger to me.
 
Since it was noted that the parking lot to the south of the park is for sale, how likely is it that the city would purchase it for expansion of this park? Is that even a good idea or is it time to let developers do their thing and get some residential there instead?

I’d much rather see a development personally. Jasper needs a strong wall, 107st is a nice entrance.

I hope they buy the land and extend the park. Spending $40 million on a beautiful public space only to hide it behind a building makes no sense. They could even add a tennis court there to elevate the park but maybe its too much to ask for our city.
