They look to be 3 floors above the podium on the north west tower and five or so on the north east one, both lagging behind the south east one, that's going up quick!

Once these top out, the only real remaining vertical growth to come will be from the two towers at Television City. Sad.

I don't see it as sad. I see it as an amazing vertical growth spurt for Hamilton in a relatively short period of time.

Each tower strengthens and helps rejuvenate downtown Hamilton with hundreds of residents.

I agree it's been a wild ride. As someone who grew up in the 70s and saw the commercial and office growth in the city centre up until 1990 (then the long investment winter set in), the residential that never followed, finally came about in spades (30 years later).

Perhaps a pause, but you still have Vrancor and Liuna towers either underway or on a path. Maybe we will get surprised with another start by a different player in 2025.

I just hope the residents enjoy it. This building is right on the edge of the busy happening social of James St but teetering on an area that has a long way to go - but is almost commercial/institutional in a way as well with the main downtown Fire Department and the Police station near by. I'm very interested to see how well this building does and the change it may bring to the area residentially

Don't cry because it's over... smile because it happened?

Every growing city goes through cycles.
By Hamilton standards, the city's high-rise residential hasn't went through this kind of a boom since the 1970s. Landmark Place, city's tallest, was built in 1974? Olympia tower built in 1976?

Also each tower begets more investment nearby.

The Gary Proctor Building can't be demolished soon enough.. that's all I gotta say..

but we are all just REALLY interested to see what happens to that MASSIVE one block big parking lot in front of it - all these builds AROUND this parking lot.. it's crazy.. but no concrete designs FOR the parking lot..
