...or a trip to Los Angeles.I always thought "Saturday night LAX" was a funny promo tagline for the Toronto Rock. Sounds like a prescription for constipation.
This is immediately what I thought....or a trip to Los Angeles.
After all, LAX is the IATA code for Los Angeles' international airport.
Yeah, seems doable.I know finishes can come quickly but hard to believe this will open fully complete and staff trained in space before November 21st.

I walked by there a few days ago and the scene on York was crazy. A ton of zonked-out people with a ton of their trash --- I think a bunch of it was under a big blue tent or tarp that took up close to half the width of the sidewalk. And various little satellites/offshoots of these people in different parts of the area.
York is completely unwalkable on the north sidewalk. I can't believe that:
a) This has become the norm.
b) That we will just open this arena with this as the norm.
c) That we can't clear these people and their massive piles of junk from the sidewalk.
It's fair that people don't want to talk about it. It's also fair if it is considered out of scope when it comes to the specific project itself. And I know that we have said it all before and that it is a tiring topic.careful, certain people in this forum don't like us pointing out what is right before our eyes.
It's literally come to the point where we probably should deploy the Army Reserve to patrol the streets in our major cities. The police aren't acting, because they have their hands tied. Woke judges won't convict these people, so cops don't bother arresting them. We're in a bad situation in Canada in 2025.It's fair that people don't want to talk about it. It's also fair if it is considered out of scope when it comes to the specific project itself. And I know that we have said it all before and that it is a tiring topic.
But it is CRAZYTOWN that we are letting this skid row action happen on the street at all, let alone directly across the road from the building that is going to bring by far more visitors than anything else in Hamilton.
