The previous poster linked to the Broadview Extension Environmental Assessment, which has a ton of detail.

A few overview-style diagrams from other places are below:

Wonder if they'll removed the grey supports and let it hang from its cables as soon as the final arch piece is in. And I guess they could remove the 'false bridge' below it at that point too?

The city docs show the grey supports all the way to the end of so it's unclear of when they are removed if it's not at the very end. The trestle structure will remain in place until after the paint touch ups and lighting are added and scaffolding needs to be in place before that happens.

Watching East Harbour station pictures I wonder. Isn't Broadview ave going under the station? I see it on N 4 rails but S side only shows the orange plastic cover. Is that stretch built as bridge or there will be more rail closures coming?

I asked that same QQ…They never built it as a bridge and will have to dig out the Eastern portion. Brilliant Metrolinx techniques at work as per usual…

Presumably there was a reason to stage it this way; it's in the plans. Perhaps there's a reason that it makes more sense to build the southern bridge as part of the East Harbour GO station - I certainly don't see the same kind of foundations for the GO stations as I see for the Ontario Line station.

Or perhaps it’s another example and reason why p3 projects don’t work and cost 3x more than they ought too. I’ve watched work be done, undone, redone, and then undone again over and over and then we wonder how we’re at $1BN+ a km when it ought to cost $350MM a km
