Isn't the station just going to be at the existing Mississauga Transitway Renforth Station?

Apparently. I thought it was going to be end-to-end with the station. Not right up to Commerce on the north side - 300 to 400 metres from Renforth.

Yes, there is no such thing as Commerce Station. Renforth Station is at Commerce Blvd and connected to the Mississauga Transitway.
I never said there was. Simply where the stops (not stations) were originally planned. So the Line 5 Commerce stop would have been at the now Mississauga Renforth Station. And there'd have been another stop 400-metres further east, in Toronto, on the east side of Renforth.

Recall that the names for this, and the Mississauga Transitway, had not been finalized back when this 2010 report was done. I simply assumed that the new Line 5 Renforth Station would be closer to Renforth than the Miway Station.

Been trying to find where exactly the city limits are around Renforth Station (and up to the proposed Pearson Transit Hub. Both Google Maps and Apple Maps don't show.
If you search a city by name in Google Maps, it comes up with boundaries and colour highlighting. Whether they are precisely correct I don't know.

I tried searching Mississauga and it seems to show correctly. Many maps of Mississauga show the pre-2010 borders before some land was transferred from Milton to Mississauga (from Ninth Line to 407), so I'm guessing it is accurate.

Don't like the construction disruptions? Better avoid the south end of Scarlett Road at St. Clair Avenue West & Dundas Street West. They're finishing off the utility work there, then the real construction on a new wider underpass there begins. See

Stations, Rail and Systems

Infrastructure Ontario and Metrolinx have selected Trillium Rail Partners to deliver the Stations, Rail and Systems (SRS) package for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE). The team has signed a Development and Master Construction Agreement with Metrolinx.
The Trillium Rail Partners team includes:
· Applicant Leads: Amico Major Projects Inc., Alberici Constructors, Ltd., and Acciona Infrastructure Canada Inc.
· Design Team: WSP Canada Inc.
· Construction Team: Amico Major Projects Inc., Alberici Constructors Ltd., and Acciona Infrastructure Canada Inc.
The team was selected following an evaluation of proposals. The selection of Trillium Rail Partners is the result of an open, fair and competitive procurement process overseen by a third-party fairness monitor.
The Development and Master Construction Agreement (DMCA) marks the start of a development phase, part of a progressive design-build procurement model. The DMCA enables Trillium Rail Partners to begin construction of early works and for them to collaborate with Metrolinx to further develop the design scope, risk allocation and pricing of various elements as part of the development phase.

No, but a tunneled LRT running exclusively through Etobicoke would be quite funny
Not really. Doug Ford's home is near Royal York & Eglinton (near the stream you see in the image below, south of Lawrence). His riding, Etobicoke North borders the line northwest of Martin Grove & Eglinton. So no surprise, he doesn't want to see the peasants who would pass him in his SUV.

wow... for once no trifecta of infrastructure death aka SNC, Aecom nor Ellis Don in the bidding.

Acciona is just as horrid, if not even worse than SNC aka AtkinsRealis.

Aecon and Ellis Don are more competent than Acciona.

So essentially, we're in for it now. I've made a number of posts in the past pointing out Acciona's ineptitude.
