The orange tarps are down on the east side of the building and they are working on that section this morning.

Mr Brad and I are of one mind these days...

This building (422 Cherry) is, by, far, the best looking on of this rather sad 'collection' but it appears to be deteriorating, already....... The buildings north of it (along Front Street East) continue to remind me of rather low -end social housing but I know there are some around here who like them.

They are just replacing any pieces of brick veneer in the precast that were damaged during transport / installation. They just chisel the old ones out and reset new ones. When they're done you shouldn't notice. Why they waited to do this until after all of the trim work was completed is another story... but this is pretty normal for brick veneer precast

You should see how many they are replacing. It's kinda crazy. They were at it again yesterday but on the Mill Street side instead of Cherry Street side. Mill Street was littered with debry. Dozens of pieces all over the ground. 😆

🤔 You know, I understand that there is limited parking around this build.

Maybe the cars parked beside this build are construction workers. It would kinda be nice if they actually made sure the backend of their car was consistently NOT in the bike lane on Cherry Street.

On that note I wish these newer buildings had a space for pickup and drop off that's obvious to drivers. Such as a mini Otherwise I always notice vehicles, sometimes Uber, with their four ways on in a no standing zone blocking the lane for cars and bikes.

I suppose this building has that south lane way at least.

It was a big project with lots more surface areas subjected to scrapes and bruises.
