They are just replacing any pieces of brick veneer in the precast that were damaged during transport / installation. They just chisel the old ones out and reset new ones. When they're done you shouldn't notice. Why they waited to do this until after all of the trim work was completed is another story... but this is pretty normal for brick veneer precast
It was a big project with lots more surface areas subjected to scrapes and bruises.You should see how many they are replacing. It's kinda crazy. They were at it again yesterday but on the Mill Street side instead of Cherry Street side. Mill Street was littered with debry. Dozens of pieces all over the ground.![]()
Though I agree it is usually safe to blame Hydro, but was the interlock ever laid right up to the buildings? I think not.Toronto Hydro low-key miffed that they weren't the first ones to bust those interlocks.
