The North York folks take them within 5 minutes to commute downtown, I bet. This is what happens in Midtown. If a bike appears magically, it is sniped within a half hour, or within minutes in the morning rush hour.

I think the data is there to perhaps analyze the bike trips and identify such patterns. It would be interesting to see a timelapse of what happens to every bike added to York University throughout the following 72 hours.

We're now at 895 operational docks.
 
Begrudgingly, none are in central areas of the city. Do you get the sense the expansion throughout the summer will consist of expansion to all wards instead of providing coverage in depth in the inner city?

There will be in-fill sites in existing areas with high demand.

I don't know the exact rollout for the year, but I would imagine something like 75% new/light coverage areas, 25% infill, high-demand areas.

Yes.

I think that's typical for new stations.

Correct. The stations/docs are set up by one team, the bikes by another. The docks come on a flat-bed, the bikes in vans.

Bikes are typically added within a week.
 
90% of bikes in use at 8am!?

Bike Angels points in NYC is really cool. Not just about monetary rewards but gamification of points and a leaderboard for social cred. Sounds exciting for Toronto.
Good to heard it is in development for Toronto. Free rides if you go uphill! 🤣
