This was the scene last night at BMO Field before the game. There were two broken docks in the stall by BMO Field that tricked everyone checking the app to come over to park their bike. One of the docks actually worked somewhat allowing people to “end their ride” (as confirmed in the app) before rejecting the bike. We piled the "ended rides" bikes in front of the docks.

I’ve recommended that they greatly expand this dock capacity to accommodate gameday riders. I noticed a new station appear on the south side of Exhibition GO which I swear was not there before. They should add another on the north side of the tracks.
With Bike Share promoting valets for concerts they really should just do the same thing with TFC games

There was only one rejected bike remaining when I got there after the game, which I safely returned to a working dock 😇

They definitely need more racks at BMO though, it's virtually impossible to park there before a game. I also suggested this to them through that map suggestion page they released recently.

A couple of homeless guys had two stolen bike share bikes on Richmond in front of the cloud garden this morning. I told the bike share employee parking bikes on temperance Street about it, and he kind of shrugged and said there was nothing he could do.

I get that he’s not gonna go over there and wrestle them away personally, but he can’t even make a phone call?

At Bay and King, I ran into the guy who seemed to be in charge of the valets, so I chatted with him. He said that the bike share employees are told not to try to recover stolen bikes in this situation because someone got stabbed a few years ago. Might be an urban legend, but I didn't cross-examine him.

He said that even if they call the cops, the cops won't do anything because they're too busy giving out parking tickets (definitely an urban legend!) so nobody does anything.

Bike Share needs to keep their finger on the city’s pulse to understand when they will need to deploy valet services. It’s disheartening to hear “I would’ve bike shared but I know there will be no docks”

I’d be very interested to see the historical data of bike movements overlaid above a city social calendar and map

Almost 700,000 people work in that square mile. About 2% of all the jobs in the country. I'm quite sure not being able to easily drive cars into it does impact the traffic of Greater London.
Lots of workers, but barely any residents. Only about 9,000 people in 2005 (odd I can't see a more recent number) - perhaps more hotel rooms than that :) . So other than service vehicles, there's very few reason personal vehicles should ever enter.

Whoever came up with that one probably mistook the Parking Enforcement officers to the regular TPS officers.

Has anyone else been getting this error a lot lately? The dock easily had 12 bikes but only 5 were accessible. None of the inaccessible bikes had red lights on either so it was a game of trial and error to get the right bike.

A lot of people biking to work today. Maybe the most I’ve ever seen. And the valets are moving them somewhere else around the corner too.

I imagine the big reason why is because of the King+Chruch intersection closure, and the resulting mess known as the TTC that people are looking to avoid.

It's going to be interesting to see how this trend goes.

Ok, just the other day, I'm being laudatory for Bikeshare having finally put bikes back in, in the north-west section of the City............ ...but today...

This makes no sense to me..........I get that some students/staff may bike off campus...........but to basically be back to zero bikes again after just a few days? What's going on here?

I can only suspect everyone in the area is taking the bikes onto the Finch hydro corridor and biking to North York City Centre.

Only problem w/that theory........there are no bikes in North York Centre either:
