I spoke to him within the last month and he is not ill so there is that.
A room for that amount is certainly possible at the higher end, but it's very tough to deliver (even with a subsidy) much less and the only differential there is land cost (potentially), but from what i've seen it is negligible at best.
Nonsense. Downtown’s lanes and u/g LRT stations etc. - including some within a block of the warehouse park - can be just as bad if not worse. At least according to your own posting history as well as my own experience. Why? Very little around it, relatively unsafe, not inviting and far from a place i'd want my son or daughter to slog through versus Downtown proper, North Edge or closer to top of bank.
In time sure, but let's fill the holes Downtown first; we cannot do everything, everywhere all at once and Downtown proper can realize MUCH more immediate benefit and is in DIRE need of people.

You sound like someone from Windermere or St. Albert talking about downtown. What’s taking place in the core doesn’t stop or start in the middle of 97th Street.

So you’re saying that the only thing the Quarters needs to be a suitable location is exactly what’s being suggested for the Quarters???Downtown has eyes on the street, at the moment, the Quarters have none.
