Saving Grace, a brunch spot at 907 Dundas Street West, will be closing after 25 years in business. Their last day will be Feb 15, 2025:

CIBO Wine Bar (Yonge Street) will be closing this month, last day of service is January 25th, 2025.
They're located at 2472 Yonge, just north of Eglinton. (Essentially, discussions around renewing the lease were unresolved, so closure was the only real option)
Just in case anyone wants another source on this, here

I am biased as I personally know the owner of this place - he also owns https://www.gonzofoodcompany.com/
Born in Busan, South Korea, 27-year-old Hansang Lee came to Toronto on a mission to further his culinary career. “I’ve been interested in the industry since I was 15 years old,” he says. “Both of my parents worked full time, so I learned how to cook for the family. I went to culinary high school, and that’s where I fell in love with all aspects of food and hospitality. When I was 18, I did my obligatory time in the Korean military, where I was chosen to be the commander’s chef.” In 2019, when he finished his service, Lee moved to Toronto to meet his brother, Juwon, who had come to the city a few years earlier to study culinary arts at George Brown.

I went to the Craft Brasserie in Liberty Village's final night last Friday. The waitress said they're closing because the owner wanted to retire. They already have a new buyer lined up, although no confirmation on what the new concept is going to be. Staff that were previously with the Craft have first right of return to join the new business once they open though, so that is positive at least

"Jamil’s Chaat House is a modern Pakistani snack house churning out small plates packed with explosive flavours. “I’ve worked front-of-house for years, at restaurants including Rhum Corner, Imanishi and Momofuku—places that offer a kind of modern take on regional cuisine. I’ve always liked eating at these types of spots,” says co-owner Jalil Bokhari. “I opened Jamil’s because there’s no place in Toronto offering Pakistani food—the cuisine of my heritage—expressed through the lens of casual fine dining.”"

Meanwhile, Wong had been running Patois, Toronto’s first sit-down Asian-Caribbean restaurant, since 2014. Their shared interests led Shawcross—who had heard about Patois’s success through the culinary grapevine—to invite Wong to Hong Kong so they could collaborate on a menu. The two quickly became friends and soon began discussing the idea of opening a restaurant back in Toronto. When Wong and Lam closed Bar Mignonette, their raw bar above Patois, the opportunity presented itself.

“Between us, we bring experience from Mediterranean, Italian, Japanese, French, Caribbean and Cantonese cuisines,” says Shawcross. “This restaurant is our love letter to Hong Kong—told through our own unique lens and in a way we could only do in a place like Toronto.”

Art's opinion: this is a hard no! if i wanted chinese I rather spend the money on delicious food in Chinatown where the food matter...don't give a crap about nice ambiance and IG worthy photos!

Another one gone soon in Liberty Village. As Liberty Commons, which is located inside Big Rock Brewery have announced that they're closing, with their last day being on February 16th, 2025:

That's unfortunate, but not too surprising. I'm sure Left Field's arrival shook things up; and while the food at Liberty Commons was good, it is more hidden away.

Yeah, I've been to Liberty Commons at least a handful of times through the years. They have outdoor rear patio too. But it's a tougher spot and draws in less foot traffic being close to the edge of where the retail takes place.
