These recognitions of the State of Palestine seem mostly symbolic affirmations of what should've resulted after the Oslo Accords in 1993. As long as Trump and Netanyahu remain in charge, effects will likely be minimal on the ground.
However, the Netanyahu government is already planning a response to counter these declarations and it will be interesting to see how Western governments react to possible annexation of the West Bank next week.

I don't know UK law but suspect it might easier to ban entry to a country by non-citizens, particularly for business travel, than it would be to ban a performance in the UK by UK citizens.

Murdering oppressed people is still murder.
Standing up for people is still valid if they’re oppressed.
Wanting to defend people from one terrible government that’s killing them does not validate their own government killing a lesser number of them.
