None of the malls (except City Centre) have indoor accesses from the LRT. It’s too bad that the criminals ruin everything here.
Yeah, Millwoods towne centre LRT stop has a covered walkway to the transit platform. Weird music playing through those speakers throughout the walkway. Benches. Kind of cool actually.
Walking to the actual mall is a hazard. Navigate through a parking lot for your troubles. I don't see much issue as far as obnoxious behavior or worse over there. Coliseum is a different story.
Not familiar with the antics of the WEM area peoples.. Lol

I did some driving from 109 Street west (no pics). I found the following observations:
(1) Almost all of the trenches for LRT tracks have been dug, with many of the underground utilities completed.
(2) More traffic lights at pedestrian crossings, and intersections like 128-129 Street.
(3) Track subbase and base earth have been laid in many parts of 156 Street. Some track forms have been built.
(4) The track mindbender apparatus moves with little bulldozer tracks. It’s currently at the turnoff onto 156 Street South. It looks like both will move north as track construction progresses.
(5) Looks like the concrete between Meadowlark Station and 87 Avenue is largely complete.
(6) 87 Avenue has a lot of roadwork.

Given our track record with the existing Valley Line, does anyone else feel like the at-grade track crossing on the 87 Ave AHD exit ramp designed like a slip lane might be a bad idea?

Absolutely. This is one of our main access points to WEM, and a lot of people who will be coming to WEM from out of town and aren’t familiar with our LRT system will be using 87 Ave.
