Meanwhile the MTA NYCTA who are still using Articulated buses would probably be laughing at the TTC. Imagine if NYC didn’t had Artics for 10 years, although they did buy the NFI D60HFs which did performed better I think for NYC

Very disappointing to hear this stark contradiction to an earlier post on here that mentioned that crime is declining compared to 2023.

And yet I've had operators bitching at me more than once, because I want to use the slower back door. So yeah, I'm more likely to use the front door now, unless it's a busy stop.

The "exclusive" data is the same Stats Canada data that's been available to everyone for years. As the Toronto data is sourced from TPS then that's been available since much earlier this year.

But wait ... crime IS down. What is @gabe referring to? The headline at https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/daily-quotidien/250722/dq250722a-eng.htm?indid=4751-2&indgeo=0 is that the crime severity index fell 4.1% since 2023. The police-reported crime rate fell 3. 6%. The violent crime severity index fell 1%. The non-violent crime severity index fell 5.7%. And even the youth crime rate fell by 4.2% Digging deeper - Ontario is down. What's up? Fraud ... I don't think fraud is injuriing transit workers. Hate crime is up.

Did you read the article? The graphs clearly show a sharp decline after 2023. But I don’t blame you, they knew what they were doing with this headline.

Shuttle buses have been running for over an hour now. That's some significant debris. .

You don't need fare enforcement officers in places that small. If you misbehave, the driver will just tell your mom.

I thought they removed all of it in the early 2000's? They did all those weekend closures to remove it.
So did a piece break off the wall and fall onto the tracks?
