Is there any point, at the TTC? Every bus has gotten them sine 2018 and I have yet to be convinced that they add anything. Lots of dead space.
The TTC needs to hire a summer student again (just like they did with the next train displays for the subway) to show them how to come up with a useful vehicle display, because clearly they arent competent enough to do it themselves.

Jan 13

4627 has enter service on 503 after arriving December 16/2024 (28 Days) and is tracking

4635 has enter service on 503 after arriving December 19/2024 (25 Days) and is not tracking at this time

4636 is being prepared for service

4638 is being prepared for service

4637 is at Hillcrest loading dock to be off loaded

Once 4637 is off loaded, TTC will 36 out of 60 cars on its property. At this rate, they could be here by the end of June this year.

Looks like 4636 enter service from Leslie on route 501 for one trip and then became a 504 on its return as it still on 504 and is not tracking. It was off loaded January 02.

It was moved from Russell on the 22th to Leslie and then did a test run to Broadview and back to the service bay. It then went on the in-service track last night.

The other two are in the service bays and will not enter service until the first week of February or about.

4637 has enter service after arriving Jan 14 on February 12/2025 (29 Days On 503). It is not tracking like other these past few months
4640 maybe still at Lambton yard or at Hillcrest loading Dock that arrived on Sunday.

Still missing 4632, 4638 and 4639

Edit: 4640 was off loaded today at Hillcrest

With the construction of the new Hillcrest Yard, TTC removed 4658 car that have been store there for years to make room for 4572 and for the construction.

4658 was tow to Roncesvalles yard during the night with a tarp covering the A unite that was damage in 2022 when hit by a garbage truck and hard to say if TTC has try fixing it. There is talk that it may go back to Thunder Bay to have the A unite either fix, replace or the car scrap.

4541 been sitting in Lambton close to 2 weeks with the flats still sitting at Hillcrest when 4640 was delivery a month ago and still sitting there.

4639 was delivery to the loading dock yesterday and off loaded today. Still arriving out of order with some 4630's cars still not delivery yet as well 4641-4633

4640 has completed its burn-in, testing and being prepare for service that we may see it in service late this month

I was remarking to my #2 just yesterday how the new streetcars seem to have always been here. Now, I did grow up riding the PCC and CLRV cars, but the new ones just seem so ubiquitous, like they were always here.

4568.

4641 was off loaded today with 4642 sitting at Lambton to be delivery to Hillcrest.

4639 started its testing and burn in yesterday,

4640 still at Leslie that spending a lot of time going in and out of the service bays after arriving February 12 and has yet to go to Russell for SWIS work before entering service

February was to be a slow month for deliveries and is to pickup to have the last car here by the summer.

Other than an Alstom logo and the numbering, is there any way to tell a streetcar from this batch versus the original ones? Any minor differences?

Where's the Alstom logo in the car? For some reason I haven't noticed.

It was an assumption, since most of these were manufactured after the completion of the acquisition in 2021, the first ones in the order of 60 should might still have had a Bombardier logo, but these very latest ones probably have an Alstom one. On the LINTs and Citadis, Alstom puts their logo at the top left of beside driver's door in the cab. It's likely the new corporate overlords would want something similar on the Flexity.

However, given the 10 year gap between oldest and newest, I wouldn't be surprised about other very subtle but minor changes.

No, they are identical.

I haven't seen logos for BBD or Alstom in any publicly accessible locations.

Caught 4639 on its first ever test run last night on Queen's Quay.

Well, for future refrence, this is that they look like from both an Ottawa and a Metrolinx Citadis, it's hard to see against the darker Metrolinx image, but it's the plate at the top left. I imagine you'd see them on any future streetcars
