I've had a few non-urban-toronto-normies tell me that they either like the colour of the building, the shape of the building, or both, so you know this one is a winner if normal people are talking about it.

I wish we got a wider sidewalk on Sherbourne. I think the Front street sidewalk and pedestrian realm, if not good, will at least be wider than our standard sidewalks.

Anyway, big change here since 2017..

We used to live right next to this building, and my wife (ultimate non-UT normie) likes the look of it a lot.

My husband, who hears A LOT about local projects, but is not a designer, knows this one well. One of the top 5 on his list for sure.
 
with those nice vertical lines, I wish this were taller. Still, even at its current height, this design is a winner. It's simple above the podium, but with a classic look. Works well with the red building in the foreground in the last photo. Giving off some NYC vibes a bit.
