SLNA Development Committee News:
The Whitfield – UPDATE

180 Front Street East (corner of Sherbourne and Front)

Occupancy: January 2026

Units: 484, Storeys: 39

Community Benefits: Sidewalks on Front Street will be widened (similar to south side), including a narrowing of the intersection at Princess St. Once the hoarding is removed selected panels of the artwork will be retained for repurposing elsewhere in the neighbourhood.

Crane will come down mid-late July and streetscape will start late August. Tim Horton’s has the option to return to the Sherbourne retail space.

Any educated guesses by the more experienced regarding further occupancy (and closing) date delays? : )

Why do you think the dates in the SLNA report are wrong? SLNA has good working relationships with most developers and it looks about right to me. So far the construction seems to have been very smooth.

The majority of developments that menkes is a part of seem to go fairly smoothly and efficiently with the exception of I can't remember the name of it looks like a shampoo bottle 🤣🤣
Edit 4800 yonge street
