color is nice but the economy is still so bad. both the new condos adjacent to it still have yet to find renters for all the shops on the ground level.

prices for this were well above +$1000/sqft I dont know how people can afford the occupancy fees

The St. Lawrence condo to the the west of this development has leased all the retail units, the last vacant unit on the corner is currently being renovated in preparation for H&R Block to move in.

The Time & Space condo to the south of this development is its own problem, with unattractive and awkwardly sized units that don't seem to be garnering much interest.

Quite a bit of other retail has opened recently in surrounding buildings, and this one will include a Tim Horton's, in the facaded brick portion along Sherbourne.
 
I think that the general consensus (here and in the neighbourhood) is that of the three adjacent buildings, the Whitfield is by far the best, the St Lawrence Condos have turned out better than many of us expected and T&S are at the very bottom of the group and in the wider area. The retail leasing community seems to have the same opinion.

Wow that seems like a long duration for how close to completion this looks Hope that rates come down for any of the buyers so they don't take a bath menkees did a phenomenal job on this build design-wise with the exception of sugar warf they are definitely one of my more favorite in the city

Interiors on mid to top floors have long way to go
