I read in the front page article that Shoppers is opening here. Am I wrong in thinking that the other one at the corner of Queen and Parliament will close and, hopefully, a new development pops up on that block?

The one at Queen and Parliament has been closed for months -- there's a Shoppers temporarily at Queen and Sherbourne (pharma only).

Shoppers is the perfect anchor tenant. This block had so much potential but, alas, it's block busted with retained facades on enormous podiums. It's the big box of mixed use high rise housing.
