It always confuses me about Pioneer - the 407 lot is always rammed and overflowing, yet the driveway access for Pioneer being essentially across the street and it sits empty and underused.

The lot in VMC (privately owned) is also always busy, despite the Pioneer lot being a 2 minute drive and being cheaper.

There is a lot more walking involved in the Pioneer lot which may have something to do with it. But the VMC is busy and 407 is oversubscribed if anything, and Pioneer sits empty. It's like most people don't even know it exists or something.

Here are the lots on April 9, 2025 - a wednesday afternoon:

VMC - south lot is more or less full, north lot about 1/3 full by the looks of it:

Pioneer: well...

In rush hour traffic Pioneer could be another 10 minute drive

Also the VMC parking may not all be commuters and would include office workers too

There's actually an entrance off Jane Street which is about 330 metres south of the 407 Station parking lot driveway. So hardly 10 minutes away.

Yeesh, why wouldn't they have paths that actually follow desire lines to cut down on walking times?

I'll be coming here for the Blackpink concert in July will be taking the GO train from Hamilton to Union. From my understanding I should be able to take the subway here or it gets me pretty close? Anyone know what station I would get off at that would get me closest to Rogers Stadium entrance?

The closest subway station to the stadium is Downsview Park Station, then you can walk about 15 - 20 minutes to the stadium.

It's the map on the venue website

"Map in not being to scale" shocker
