Taken 4 March.
That Daniels complex is so ironic now. It is called city of the art, but the building looks really far away from being an art, and now Artscape is gone too. They might as well just get rid of the City of the Arts name.Yet both are, hands down, better than those cheap turds directly to the northwest (Daniels Waterfront - City of Arts).
What a joke to use (nearly) the same name as Calatrava’s City of the Arts & Science in Valencia. That Daniels complex is so ironic now. It is called city of the art, but the building looks really far away from being an art, and now Artscape is gone too. They might as well just get rid of the City of the Arts name.
The grey is horrificThis thing is so hideous there’s zero redeeming quality here. They didn’t try at all. This would be acceptable as an infill project in Scarborough but in our central waterfront? That’s sad.
Also true!Aesthetics aside the occupancy of over 450 units plus street-level retail is going to have a positive impact on this rapidly growing neighbourhood.
