Hmm im suspecting they are trying to clear the future Downes/Harbour St side of construction material, in an effort to clean up for Le Meridian to open (whenever that will be).
I'll also add the site was more noticeably quiet today.

I love how the view of the city from the East has suddenly come into prominence in the last ten to fifteen years. Aside from the occasional picture from Riverdale Park, you just didn't see it featured much.Just what city is this?? Because it sure as heck doesn't look like the Toronto of old!
It's like whole new vistas of the city have arrived, and with all the new construction swelling the skyline, it's really looking pretty marvellous.
