Yes , that wouldnt suprise me. from eyeballing it I'd say it's 233m as of nowShould be reaching 250m in mid june I bet
Which would make it about the same height as ICE condominiums which checks out if you ask meYes , that wouldnt suprise me. from eyeballing it I'd say it's 233m as of now
Whoa, this is not a good sign! Hoping this isn't the finished product.Interesting, was expecting the frit pattern to be more prominent. The “wave” is barely perceptible
This balcony glass is definitely a mistake. It won’t read as bold as the render. Should’ve been a denser/more solid white like phase 1 was. Oh well…More balcony glass going in today. It's a bit more noticeable this time of day. I'll reserve judgement until more is up, but so far it's looking a tad anemic. I was also hoping for something bolder.

Uh, Mississauga has a pretty wild skyline coming together.Agreed.
Other than the height I never got what was so special about this towers design. It could fit right into Mississauga's skyline IMO.
Not sure anyone saw the front page story of this in a spectacular fashion...

UrbanToronto Tours Supertall-to-be 'SkyTower' at Pinnacle One Yonge | UrbanToronto
Yesterday, UrbanToronto joined a construction tour of SkyTower at Pinnacle One Yonge, covering the tower from podium to near-pinnacle. The walkthrough revealed details on the tuned mass damping, post-tensioned slabs, RCS and ACS systems, and progress across residential, hotel, and public spaces.urbantoronto.ca
...where UT reps scaled this towers heights and depths under construction. And here's hoping Mr. 42 will invite us regulars to join in if they do this again. <3
Haha, you're welcome to join the Canada Chapter of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat who arranged the tour, and get direct invites from them!!I was available on short notice to fill any vacant spots but didn’t get the call.![]()
So basically... it should have just copied The One?I don’t get why so many love the look & design of this tower so much. The height? The roof? It’s maybe a more elevated status quo form but very familiar still. Colour scheme is on the bland side. If this structure had significant shades of gold, amber etc in its facade, but Toronto
never does, then I’d like it much more.
Guys, I don't think anyone's come out and said the design is extraordinary or anything to that effect. The tower is well liked mostly because the build quality and execution is there. The last thing this city needed was a huge blight front and center on the skyline, we're all just largely relieved this won't be one.Agreed.

They might reject me because of my opinions on their spire business though... >.<Haha, you're welcome to join the Canada Chapter of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat who arranged the tour, and get direct invites from them!!
