Wait, three floors a week?? This might actually be completed before 1bw, as in structurally completed (cladding in specific) correct me if I’m wrong but this’ll open before 1bw?
From the artcle: The self-climbing platform shields three and a half floors at a time, offering vital wind and fall protection. The system enables a roughly four-day cycle per floor, helping to maintain the construction schedule even when crane operations are halted due to wind or height constraints.

It's fast, but not that fast. It will probably surpass 1 Bloor West before the latter reaches substantial completion (topped out and fully clad), but that's a moot point because we know it will be 43m taller.

Based on distance and perspective, I would think it would look more like this or somewhere in-between.

I took a screenshot of my Toronto model of the same perspective, lining up the CN Tower with the newly topped-off Canada House:

We were both pretty close, but yes, the real height was in-between. The dotted red line is the limits of my cropped photo.

Not sure anyone saw the front page story of this in a spectacular fashion...

...where UT reps scaled this towers heights and depths under construction. And here's hoping Mr. 42 will invite us regulars to join in if they do this again. <3

I was available on short notice to fill any vacant spots but didn’t get the call. 😊

I don’t get why so many love the look & design of this tower so much. The height? The roof? It’s maybe a more elevated status quo form but very familiar still. Colour scheme is on the bland side. If this structure had significant shades of gold, amber etc in its facade, but Toronto
never does, then I’d like it much more.

Agreed.

Other than the height I never got what was so special about this towers design. It could fit right into Mississauga's skyline IMO.
