They’ve been slowly moving everyone out of that hallway for the last year or so, I found it odd Ardene opened down there…but they are now moving back upstairs again. Long term plan was always to demolish this section, I guess TheBay closing down sped up their plan a bit.Centrecourt has requested the demolition of the former Bay wing and plans to build a road:

Some previous posts gave us that insight for those who needed a reminder (including myself). I will let others comment on its potential.Were there condos south of the future road and north of Pickering Parkway shown in any site plans? I am just curious how "long-term" of plan this was.

I think it will be a while before they get to developing the south side of The Bay ... based on Centrecorp's plans there is 10 buildings in the area where the corridor and Sears used to be ... after that is done then they will turn their attention to the area south of The Bay near Highway 401
(I popped into the presentation centre on the weekend)
