Maybe we should set up a home planting/gardening thread somewhere.

This was the first flower I got from my laneway wildflower garden. I have some other orange and yellow ones blooming now, and some Cosmos growing rapidly.

Maybe we should set up a home planting/gardening thread somewhere.

We have one of those, here:

Tell me how much sun this patch gets? Is it naturally moist? Do you water it regularly?

Normally, I stick Bikeshare news in the applicable thread, but given how popular that service and this new space is with UT'ers......I thought I would note that a new dock/station was added today:

Interesting location as there is a TTC shelter there that is often occupied by a person who looks homeless plus his Bike Share Bike! Now he will have a more convenient source of bikes!

It looks like they are setting up a Visitor's Centre for the Park which "offers guests an opportunity to learn about the rich history of Biidaasige Park and discover plans for the future development of Ookwemin Minising."

I keep wanting to believe that they have the data and the know how. But I’m both surprised that this didn’t exist before- a rack outside a large employment centre that was in the middle of nowhere to begin with- and also questioning why we built a parking lot across from the park and didn’t put a rack there.

If parking had the logic of the bike share, we wouldn’t have parking across from street from Biidaasige.

I found that strange myself. They did have a bike rack in that parking lot but not a bikeshare. I keep thinking their had to be a reason but I have this gut feeling it was an afterthought and by the time they realized it was too late to get it in place for the opening of the park. It's just a hunch though.

Is it a TPA lot? Given they operate bikeshare that would be less forgivable
