I thought this was an island. Has anyone mentioned why they added the fill?
Is this a temporary spring time river flow restriction?

Playground with no parking is going to be so bad for young families.
Sure there will be a few weirdo families who love taking subway/streetcar/bus to get here, or who want to ride those big crazy bicycles to get here.

But normal families are going to pass on this big time.
Street parking or a small parking lot is not an evil thing.

The 'big lot at Polson & Cherry" is a construction site for https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threa...-downtown-12-76m-3s-dfc-bdp-quadrangle.38288/ There is a lot at the western end of Polson but it is a long walk back to the park and is often used by the 'entertainment complex' (who, I assume, lease it.)I agree on the parking, but this is some messed up language.
What's the deal with that big lot at Polson & Cherry. I get that it's private, but it's been closed the few times I've been in the area. At least put up some pay stanchions and leave it open for the revenue!
Oh yeah, they're weirdos for living without a car, like people did for all of human history until 100 years ago. All those people in the future neighbourhood here should buy a car to drive the next block over.Playground with no parking is going to be so bad for young families.

Tons of people would take transit to a place like this if they actually built transit to it.
