The architects were plainly inspired by Durham Region's most beautiful parking structures

A few things I noticed, was the bridge connection to the pods just ends at what I assume is a stair instead of a building connection that was previously there. I do believe the parking garage should be on the other side of Lakeshore and have more parkland or anything more natural than an above grade structure that they almost certainly will cheapen. Something like the Ontario line/East Harbour stations is what I would be worried about.
Next is the volleyball courts should be in the opposite direction...for those that play that ball is going straight into the water OFTEN!

More trees or planting is needed at or near the pods bridge as that seems like a ton of paving space serving nothing and in the winter will be awful to be. Also, like what was mentioned above the trees and planting on the roof was nice and disappointing to see cut back so much.

Live Nation's renders look like they are reducing the space significantly which worries me on movements through there entering and exiting, plus when getting concessions. The current layout is pretty tight as it is, so I would have thought to see a bit better. (Probably still early stages though). It really is going to suck when they tear down to rebuild for the 2-3 years it'll take.

There is a lot to be happy about given the Spa being the thorn of the project.

*My two cents

And they have this big a** access driveway along the water edge for the parking - and you know it won't be the beautiful empty thing (at least you'd hope it won't be).

Replacing the view of one ugly building with another.

Honestly, all I'm looking for in these plans is how this monstrosity is going to be replaced or repurposed in 10 years when the private entity fails. The previous iteration of the spa with a green roof could've been turned into a public indoor pool with a park on top and the land side parking lot could be converted into parkland to connect with Stanley Barracks to the north and Coronation Park to the east.

But the garage structure by the water's edge and the glass spa with no room for trees make both of those impossible.

According to the G&M the location of the new OSC hasn’t been decided yet. East side of Parliament Slip???

no decision on the "temporary" location yet.

In previous iterations, it was possible to discern an underground connection to the central entrance to the spa and pods. I imagine it's still there as there'll have to be a connection between the main building and the pods/Cinesphere. That land side building does seem to have been moved further away from the bridge so that's going to be a pretty long tunnel if that connection remains.
I found what you’re talking about.
This makes no sense to me 😂

It’s funny how suburban GO stations, hospital campuses, and now tourist attractions all look the same. The garage facing Lake Shore Blvd is a Metrolinx special.

Holy shit, they're building the parking structure on the waterfront 😑
... we're stuck with a parkade blocking views of the water for the rest of our natural lives.
It won't be the parking garage blocking the view of the lake. There's going be a berm in front of it blocking the view of the parking garage, so I guess that's supposed to be better? 🤣

And after the NY Times article earlier this year saying that this Therme (as opposed to the bigger one they were apparently pretending to be) was losing money and had no outside investors for this project, a reporter asked Ford about Therme's financing, and he said it's "none of my business".
So, it doesn't matter if this is nothing but a bunch of renderings and empty talk about something that will never get built because they don't have the money? (Much like the OverActive Media esports theatre?)

Years ago i was in Lisbon and friends took us through a parking garage and up to the roof of the parking garage, to our surprise we found different restaurants and bars with a great view of the city.
That's something they can do here.

This CTV report says there is an "event space" planned for the roof - https://www.ctvnews.ca/toronto/politics/queens-park/article/ontario-place-final-designs-revealed/

"Ford said Tuesday that it will be four or five storeys, with an event space on the roof, and will have room for 3,500 vehicles – 1,000 more than originally contemplated."
