Is that an enclosed waiting area at the north end?
No enclose areas for any stations and are supposed to be the same as Derry that was installed in 2024. Once those sections are in place, the roof will go up in large sections. All the stations other than Derry needs a lot of extra work to install the missing pieces including the small amount for Derry on the east side. Then there is the platform edges slabes to be install as well.

Dundas is to be a mess starting in June now that Paisley is to be reopen by this weekend, Sherobee any day as well Pinewood once striping is done for both road and crossing. There is still talk that all traffic on Dundas in both directions including Transit will be on detour for 6 weeks in place of doing a haft a intersection at a time that will take 9 weeks. If haft a section, Dundas is a single lane in both direction which has happen at all major intersections in the past.

Southbound lane beside the guideway north of Pinewood to Mineola in the process of being mill and pave nightly. When work starts on the guideway on the southside of Dundas, the end of making a left turn onto Dundas northbound since there is only room for two lanes with a miWay bus stop.

There is supposed to be 4 lanes at Englewood to where the southbound lanes swing east. Stop light for southbound traffic where the lanes shift sides of the guideway at Mary Fix Creek. Track work for the southbound lanes that will cross the tracks ready for concrete.

Duct banks and other utilities being installed from Englewood to PC station with sections graded to see concrete base pour for it.

All but a small section of the guideway from Mineola to Pinewood has steel mats and ties in place for the northbound track. Steel mats should be in place for the southbound track today for the missing section with all ties in place next week.

Nothing new for PC station.

So what is this section that looks like an enclosure? It looks completely different than the Derry Station platform canopy.

I will have to take a look tomorrow on my way into Toronto to see if this is different than Derry. Every station from Eglinton North is the same as Derry at this time. The frames arrives inside of another frame until it is in position for protection

Ah that makes sense then! These look like it could be 3 frames just packed together.

One of these trucks on the rails just south of Central Pkwy.

It and others have been splicing rails joints after the rails have been in place for some time. Anchor bolts for the rail clips are loosened to allow the rail clips to rise that will allow the rail to expand for stress test, expansion so any excess rail can be cut out.

^I'm actually surprised there wasnt a line of motorists following right behind, considering the amount of idiots we have on the streets these days.
The lane beside the guideway is close as well at the ends that are current block off all the times while splicing is taking place. Crews will open the area for the truck to setup on the track and close it after the truck moves. They has been trucks in that close lane that will splice rails together before the rails are place on ties as well doing the final splicing.

By the looks of things, the Square One Station will be about 200 feet east of Station Gate as that as far the the guideway has been dug out. When they start laying the track work, it will go up the ramp to the elevated section.

They are taking their sweet time putting the tracks in place at the 403 are with only ties and steel mats in place. There is a small section missing west of Hurontario and maybe it there for vehicles to cross the ramp area at this time. Everything is read for the paving of the sidewalk to take place as well the road on the south side of the guideway.. As far as I could see, tracks base in place to the 403 bridge.

@Tuscani01 Did not make to Robert Speck Station until today and the cookie cutter Derry Station is there with the roof missing which is normal. The photo in question is the three panels in creates side by side like they have been like other stations I have seen so far. Have photos but behind a backlog at this time.

Haven't looked at the elevated section on the southside of Rathburn in sometime and noticed some rails laying at the top of the ramp which is new as I was passing it. What caught my eye and need to take a look and get a closer look at the elevated end, but looks like rails are sticking pass the end with the rest installed on the elevated section.

I see why things are taking place slowly for the northside of the 403 bridge as they have been waiting for the roll rails in various lengths that are now on site with some place for the northbound track. We should see the southbound traffic shifted by the end of June or sooner now. Where the pave sidewalk is to go is fully ready for paving on both side of the guideway and maybe why the section of the missing ties and mats so it can be use as a walkway until the guideway area is ready to walk across it. The ties and mats go right up to the bridge,

The Rathburn guideway has been dug about another 50 feet closer to Station Gate to deal with wiring for the street lights on the northside. Most of the GO Cart embankment has been sloped further to the north to allow for the sidewalk that will go in on the northside.

Over a week ago, forming was taking place for the centre area of Burnhamthorpe Station like the walkway from the platform to the intersection with more done. Going out on the limb, there will be a walkway from Matthew Gates to the platform at this time as 50 meters will be come the south end of the platform when time come to add the 2nd car for service. The walking distance to the platform from Matthew Gates will become shorter and easier to get to the station. No idea why this wasn't done for Fairview Station as it will be the same as Burnhamthorpe Station.

I also noticed the north end of the southbound curb at Burnhamthorpe has a small curve for it that will be part of the wye when it gets built. No curve curb on the northside of Burnhamthorpe for the wye.

Concrete been pour for the topcoat for the small section of track work on the southside of Eglinton as well where the new crosswalk is to go. If one looks at where the current crosswalks are and the bull nose protection for the new crosswalk, the new crosswalks will be about 20 feet from where they are now.

Only a small section of topcoat is missing for both tracks for the Eglinton Station and another station that could see a ramp from Wintergarden in the future when the 2nd car is added.

Has the city mentioned anything about this line getting transit signal priority?
Yes and started to stated back in 2019,

Metrolinx just put up a notice for the Brampton Fire Station at 7880 Hurontario. They'll be working from June 1st at 7PM to June 22nd. There's no indication of whether it'll be overnight or 24/7 work. I'll see if I can make it out to the corridor this week. I have been pretty busy, but have also seen quite a bit change from the photos. They really are moving quick with their work now.
