I dont know what you're getting on about. There's a current lawsuit ongoing with the Finch West LRT. That's it.
There's dozens of cases. Checking the search engine at Justice, it returns 50 results for Mosaic Transit - but warns that there's more, and it can't handle any more.

Do you have the case number, or at least the year?

No I wouldnt be able to share the specifics on the case.

I wasn't asking for the specifics. Just the publicly available case number - if a case exists. Though I didn't check Small Claims.

Maybe it's just a threat that hasn't been filed?

Came home tonight by the way of Dundas and Hurontario for the first time in over two weeks.

Traffic has been shifted to the westbound lanes for both directions with the eastbound lanes closes on both sides of Hurontario. The eastbound curb east of the transit stop has been dug up along with part of the road. No idea what for as I saw nothing to tell me what has and is taking place. Idiots blocking traffic to may the illegal left turns in both directions as usually.

The missing guideway for the CP bridge area has been dug out with the curbs in place that has no concrete base at this time, Could be waiting for duck bank to be install or the building of the station first. Other than that, nothing new from Dundas to Sq One Dr. Still haven't got around looking at the walkway to the GO Station.

So for some reason they paved a parallel pathway here but it forces you down right before the stairs, essentially making it useless. I don’t know why they bothered.

If I were feeling generous, I might assume that the upper path is there because they're going to be putting in the actual sidewalk on the lower part and don't want to block pedestrians with construction yet again.

That was my impression and was planning on having a look today and looks like Wed now when I will do something else that day.

They are still going to have close the walkway when time comes to do the section to the stair as well to John St. Lets hope some notice is given in advance of the closure. Handrails still have to be place on the wall.

I expect the new walkway will be a duel path for pedestrians and cycles and it will happen on the east side as well.

Took a walk to Sq One for the first time in over a month and a few things jump out to me and have to take back my comment of no work to Sq One Dr. Duct work for hydro and X is taking place on the east side from Matthew Gates to Burnhamorpe and have seen vacuum trucks in the past at Burnhamorpe. What struck me the most was the Burnhamorpe Station that has been formed for donkey area and it is gone as the platform has been poured for it finally. I will say it was poured in the last few weeks.

Finally had a look at the walkway today and there are two of them. One up by the wall with the many one from the bridge to Fairview by the retaining wall and the street curb. There are two split to two lanes with one north of the GO Station and at the apartment building. The existing sidewalk to the apartment building still in place,

Talk to a few people with some of the accessibility community and everyone is happy as there are no more broken sidewalk they could used in the past.

This is temporary until the new path and cycle lane is build when every that is. The section from the bridge to John St will see backfilling and different slope when it gets rebuilt. Expect a week or two to do that work and shouldn't interfere in the reopening of the north section.

Three man surveyor crew surveying the guideway north of the bridge and moving toward the bridge. Either the are design errors or construction errors, there has been a lot of surveying taking place along the full corridor with some being done twice.

The two barriers for the CP bridge have been removed and waiting for the two centre barriers to be built before the base can be pour. The south side will be done one the station is built.

Did not look at Dundas St work.

The new northbound traffic lanes (push box) under the QEW had asphalt applied this morning. I didn't notice any other changes from Port Credit station to the QEW.

My original plan today was a bus ride to Port Credit for a few things, but @Tim MacDonald posting change that plan. I ended up walking from the Queensway to Port Credit as it allowed me to check a few things on my due list as well do the first walk for that section of the corridor this year. Still have to do Eglington to Derry as I want to check a few things, but may bus ride to those areas,

A small crew has been digging up parts of the guideway base where the OS pole support and cable box for various sections south of Fairview. Southbound curb lane close north of Paisley to the Queensway as hydro ducts are being stalled next to the curb in the road

The base for the Queensway Station has been formed, poured and striped. The southbound guideway base is still not poured. Curb machine sitting at Sherobee and see no work for. With all the traffic lanes moved at the North Service Rd, there is over 200' of guideway that can be built with no interferences with southbound traffic.

The northbound lanes are fully paved from the South service Road to the south side of the QEW west off Ramp. Topcoat in place in the underpass but missing on either side like the rests of the corridor, no concrete curbs in place like is to be like the plans I have seen, and it may have to do that the rest of that intersection still has to be built. All it needs is stripping so it can open, and it may not happen until they rebuilt the south-east corner that is under way. The plan was to have it open in the summer and still 2 months to go.

As Tim as noted and what I have posted in the past, zero work has taken place south of the South Service Road to where Mary Fix Creek starts. Still a lot of sidewalk work to be done as well move a few lights post out of the sidewalk area.

The wooden sound barrier is 100% completed and stained and been that way most of the year. Base for the sidewalk for the fence area as well to Englewood is in place and waiting sidewalk work. Same goes for the guideway. Other than handrail on the retraining wall, Mary Fix Creek is 100% done.

Part of the sidewalk from Englewood to PC station has been poured since I last saw it as well formed for haft of the sidewalk width. The guideway is waiting for concrete base.

Saw only one worker on the upper part of the north section of the station with everything fence off.

The last time I shot the north section of the station was at the end of May and don't recall seeing any changes the first week of July, but the west wall cinder blocks have been installed with no change to the started south end.

The east sidewalk is still close and have built a large U training wall with a deep hoke that I could see and no idea what is going in there. There is a need for a draining area for the sidewalk area as it is flooded after each major rainfall. That area could be for a substation in place of the area on the northside of the rail corridor.

I should note the top of the ramp to Rathburn was being top off last week as well the elevated section retraining wall. I noticed this well pass it last week on the bus.

One reason I started at the Queensway was to see if any work has started on the new hospital and only saw storm drains and waterlines being installed on the west side with two security gates that needs a pass to enter or exit the site at each end with the north one block off.

I just added today shot to my backlog of 1400 shots still to be work on to get me back on track and they will be up in August sometime, but here a few shots untagged

I should note that I saw an Aecon truck stop at the plaza at the North Service Road when I was going south and thought the driver was going to Tim's at the time. Heading to Dundas on the bus, there was another truck there as well a three man crew looking at the intersection. Based on lack of process this year, is the Aecon Group taking over BOT construction 5% partnership or being brought in to deal with the mess to get it back on track??

Can't fix the intersection until hydro reallocates those 4 poles, let alone remove poles south of the QEW. Before hydro remove poles, all telecommute on those poles need to be remove. south of the QEW on both side of the street.

I also came upon this while searching for something and some interesting info. According to this, Amico has 15% stake in this project not the 5% I saw elsewhere sometime ago.

Dundas hadn't seen much work since I saw it, but more of the curb lane being removed for wide trench work and couldn't get any shot of the area today..

It's crazy how many subcons there are fixing BOT's work at this point.

I have no idea if it had to do with the LRT work or something else. This area saw no BOT work in the first place.

Some blame for delays and rework falls on Arcadis shoulders as they only got drawing up to 80% so work could start and when they hit 100%, various rework had to be done for various location. Since the designer and the detailing are out of London UK, it could be up to 48 hours to get questions answer due to the time different depending on the question.

Then there ML who has habit of rejecting things if they are off by a mm or two as well dealing with the demands of Alstom to make sure tracks meet their requirements since their LRV's don't meet NA standards and only look at Ottawa LRV's issues since they are the same car for Finch, Hurontario and Hamilton Line.

The City of Mississauga has play a part in delays by not approving permits in a timely fashion even with the fast process in place saying the applications were fill out wrong or lack info with crews standing around doing nothing while waiting for that permit.

The main partner is at fault due to lack of funds to pay for work that has a ripple effect on all other partners as well their subtrades.

Right now, Hydro and the telecommunications companies are holding up work south of the QEW with hydro also delaying work north of the QEW.

MTO has delay some work by weeks and months as they required extra work and other things first before allowing work to happen at the QEW and the 403. The QEW push box work was to happen Thanksgiving weekend that was plan two years in advance only to take place 3 weeks later.

Finger point to one company needs to be pointed to a number of parties. End of the day, the line will open years late like all ML LRT lines and we have to live with it.

Right now, I have no idea what is happening at Topflight and the tracks leading to the OMSF.

I had an unplan look at Maryland Purple Line in June that started in 2017 for an 18 mile line and is to open in 2027 now after the P3 company walked away from the project for various reason and sue the state over it. The project was delay another two years to hire another company on top of all the legal battles that saw stop orders issues and then appeal by various groups trying to cancel the project as well being over budget. The photos I shot of the line over three days can be found in my Maryland Album and I like the CAF LRV that is 142 feet long. They are getting 28 of them.
