Dennis saw Lea slacking and thought that he could start slacking too. And now Lea has caught up because of it. These TBMs are pathetic. Why can't they be more like Yorkie and Torkie. Theyre always working hard. Sigh...

I'm still confused. So will the short turn move from Glencairn to Wilson, then a few years later up to Finch west? Or will there be turn backs at both Wilson and Finch West?

I'll try and spell this out as simply as I can.

Morning rush hour, current: short turns at St Clair West.
Morning rush hour, near future: short turns at Glencairn.
Morning rush hour, longer term: short turns at Wilson.
Morning rush hour, longer term still: short turns at Finch West.

Afternoon rush hour, current: no short turns scheduled.
Afternoon rush hour, when the extension opens: still in discussions. May operate all trains north to Vaughan, may have short turns at Finch West.

Its not a good thing that they catch up, they can only be extracted one at a time at the Allen. They may race to Eglinton, but Lea will sit idle waiting for Dennis to be extracted in front of it.

That's a very good point. Ideally, I would think what they would like to have happen is that Dennis would be extracted and re-launched just before Lea arrives. That way, the launch site is continually active, but nothing is overlapping or "on hold".

I noticed a "For Sale" sign on the right (east) building of the two that are to be demolished for Mt Pleasant station's 2nd entrance on the NE of the corner between the apartment buildings on Eglinton.

Why hasn't Metrolinx bought it I wonder? They'll need it.

Here's the streetview but there's a big truck in the way

They probabaly won't buy it for a year or two as station construction doesn't start until then. It'll be bought by the contractor awarded the station construction contract.

I remember when that house the truck is blocking from view was run-down and looked like a haunted house. I thought the current owners did a pretty good job at renovating the place.

Are they even houses? They seem like weird temporary structures that are show-rooms for some housing development or something. That building on the left I saw computer servers in the basement, which was weird.

Here's a better view by the way:

They were houses at some point, when I was young. Like I said they were run-down and someone a decade ago bought them and renovated the place. It does looks like it is some business now though I haven't peered into their windows. :p
