Agreed. I've always liked that streetcars allow one the ability to view the scenery and visually determine where one might want to hop off for further exploration or shopping. That's a lot more challenging when giant parking lots obscure what's actually available.This has always been a peeve of mine, the stores cater to the car and not pedestrian traffic, it’s why certain areas of the city feel like highways and not neighbourhoods.
This area could do with some street life now that the LRT is running through it.
