Well at least Saudi Arabia hasn't gone to his head.Good question, his Linkedin says he's still in Toronto.
He apparently did some consulting in Saudi Arabia in the last year, but is currently 'self-employed'.

Yes, those of us who keep up with UT (and others like Steve Munro) know (or have a very good idea of) the opening date!! :->Does anybody know or think an announcement will be made for the opening date? Will that be in 2025 at least or by mid Jan at the very latest?
Do we now? Unless we are guessing the February 15th (the ides of February!) board change. Though the board change theory didn't work for Line 6.Yes, those of us who keep up with UT (and others like Steve Munro) know (or have a very good idea of) the opening date!! :->
Groundhog Day in Toronto, the day when a Line 5 train sticks its lead car out of its hole, and if it sees its own shadow, opening day will be in 6 weeks. (But it will just be a rumour, no official announcement.)Groundhog Day. It's gonna be Groundhog Day.

Oh?No they didn't. They explicitly said that substantial completion will happen quicker than line 6 because they already finished all their operator training. People in this forum love making up things to act like the sky is falling. We are weeks away from this thing opening and no one is willing to just accept good news.
Kinda over Matlow's photo ops for his extended run for mayor and we're still almost a full year away from the election. Also note that Matlow, who was part of group (including the TTC workers union) who had the press conference demanding more transparency, is also demanding Line 5 to open asap
What photo ops, there isn’t even a photo of him in his post or even the article lol. All I see him post is critiques of the province and their handling of Line 5, stuff about the TTC where he’s on the board, and being out and about in his community. Comes off as a social media engaged left-leaning councillor.Kinda over Matlow's photo ops for his extended run for mayor and we're still almost a full year away from the election.
Not a political thread and I don't keep up with municipal politics to have a horse in the race - but he literally held a news conference with the union. 10000% a photo op to show "he's fighting for transparency for the people of Toronto".What photo ops, there isn’t even a photo of him in his post or even the article lol. Stark contrast to Brad Bradford who’s nearly made his entire identity about constantly complaining that Toronto is going in the wrong direction and has cozied up to those who crusade against Chow.
The problem is Bradford is pretty far right-wing. He played his own constitutents by pretending to be progressive, but since his final ward election, has gotten pretty nasty - and now joins Holyday in many of the old 25-1 anti-urban votes. Not a political thread and I don't keep up with municipal politics to have a horse in the race - but he literally held a news conference with the union. 10000% a photo op to show "he's fighting for transparency for the people of Toronto".
Mammolitti redux, right down to cozying up to a Holyday. The problem is Bradford is pretty far right-wing. He played his own constitutents by pretending to be progressive, but since his final ward election, has gotten pretty nasty - and now joins Holyday in many of the old 25-1 anti-urban votes.
Ah, that's right. Didn't he used to openly admit he was a socialist?Mammolitti redux, right down to cozying up to a Holyday.
