Yeah, or even past Sutherland if its around that sweet spot between school being out and rush hour (4-5 pm).
That being said, hopefully the Crosstown makes a big enough dent in that gridlock come time. And I mostly mean for the future....especially since Leslie and Eglinton will continue to be a choke point for all users, including when it opens, Crosstown vehicles in rush hour.

How does that timeline work when the city says it takes around 14 days to declare substantial completion? Nov 7th + 14 gets us way past Nov 16

Please correct me if I am not understanding the timelines correctly
Once they achieve 3 consecutive weeks of RSD without any problems they can technically start the process of certifying Substantial Completion.

don't think there is enough time in November to finish the bedding in period
I suspect the RSD and bedding in period will happen concurrently.

We will know for sure once finch lrt hits its 30 days and the opening day is announced

Can confirm from Mx that RSD started yesterday.

What colour is the smoke!!!

Typical Google Traffic does indicate some issues weekday afternoons heading eastbound.

That's typical for just about every weekday from 3 to 5 pm. All the way from Sutherland to Leslie. That's where the bottleneck is --- at Leslie. Somehow this was not considered when the road was redesigned for the LRT. Or perhaps it was considered and then ignored.

When can we expect to see the updated maps including both new lines on all the subways and busses…thats the one thing I have been looking forward too
Would like to see the "express" stops for the route 901 Airport-Eglinton Express.

Counting down the "dies" (English: days), from MMXXV. X.VIII. It seems that long.

Yup. As I said before on this forum, they should move the intersection below grade which would grade separate the LRT and only have two phase signal. Eastbound to northbound turns and southbound to eastbound turns. Eglinton through traffic can stay on the surface. The tracks will stay put.

Good point considering how early bus stop poles were replaced, I would imagine new maps after the Oct 12 services changes might include all or most of the changes and maybe an outline of the new lines similar to the TYSSE launch. Eglinton West still needs to be renamed to Cedarvale as well.

The notice is also up for the 88 South Leaside being rerouted onto Eglinton to serve Laird Station.

If anyone knows this area, yes it's the super congested 5-10 minute to get through area for eastbound traffic. This route will suffer in hell.
Can confirm that the notices are up because I got off at a stop with one yesterday. I used to go along that route frequently in the mornings and lane closures around the LRT portal certainly didn’t help, nor the lane setup approaching Brentcliffe. Hopefully the reduction in bus counts post opening will help somewhat.

Will the 32D Eglinton West Jane & Emmett bus continue to run UNTIL Line 5 opens? Will the 32D disappear on October 12th? Will BOTH 32D and 73B run along Emmett Avenue until Line 5 opens?

Or will people will have to transfer to a 32A Eglinton bus at Jane & Eglinton or Weston & Eglinton to continue to the Eglinton West Station (I mean Cedarvale Station)?

It will continue to run until the LRT opens
