WOW! This is a bonkers proposal. I assumed it would be some basic facelift of the heritage portion with a bunch of new towers slapped in somewhere. But to actually "complete" an unfinished building from 100 years ago is next level by Toronto standards. Immediately the most interesting project in the city, IMO.
 
We do not know all the stats yet — those may be days away from publication, or GWLRA may say yes and send them to us sooner — but we have a front page story up here now, with all of our best guesses. We will amend the story as need be!

One bit of info, the Application has been submitted to the City as at July 4th.

I would imagine it will be public-facing shortly.

Thanks! So the cultural component is quite big at 50,000sf. Surprised that there is no institutional space but will likely be carved out of office space. Looking at you TMU!
