The east tower construction hoist is definitely being prepped to come down. All the floors have had their safety gates were removed last week.
It looks like the workers doing the interlocking had to stop until the north side is clear and prepped. I imagine that will take some time.
Also, the pathways into the courtyard are using grey bricks.
And the laneway planters are piled high with soil.
The gates have been pulled back, clearing the pickup/drop off parts of the lane.
And, a mysterious 2 story interior wall going in on the west side. Maybe setting up for a future retailer? This is quite closer to the north west corner of the building and a little way away from the lobby.
There is framing up inside and through the entire east building on the north side. It's one large, continuous, space. Looks like it's basically ready for drywall at this point. No signage anywhere yet though...
Things were rather chaotic as I walked by at lunch today. Fences coming down, stacks of fences being moved around, drywall going up for whatever business is going into the north side of the east building. Speed signage up in the laneway 30km/h.
