People on Reddit speculating that Lime e-bikes are coming to Toronto based on several being spotted near Union Station. I assume it's just people taking them on the GO train from Mississauga.

Though for whatever reason I can reserve them Lime e-bikes on the app and four parking locations also show up...

I am curious, I am assuming Lime would need permission from the city to operate? Anyone know?

I tired these in Mississauga, and wasn't a fan. The motor assist turns off at 20 km per hour, which is pretty slow (it's 25 km/h for Bike Share), and based on your GPS location it slows the top speed down to 13 km/h on some MUP's and just turns it off the motor on some busy roads they don't want you to cycle on, despite it being legal to cycle there.
They're also rather pricier than Bike Share. I can't see Lime being all that competitive.

Jackpot.

Lol, not for everyone. I almost never want to pay for an e-bike unless I am going straight North (uphill). Though there does seem to be at least one regular bike here.
Looks like there’s one classic bike there, but you and I are going to have to fight over it! Lol I’m the same. Only use e-bikes for short intense uphills.

If one sees a clearly abandoned Bike Share Bike (which are not uncommon), is there a simple way to report it so they can, maybe, collect it?

The Bike Share notes: Contact Customer Service at (855) 898-2378. The ability to use the app would surely be better/faster and thus more likely to have bikes retrieved before they are moved again!

Could you not just dock it for them?

Same here. I dread the day when there's so many e-bikes that finding a station with a regular bike becomes a recurring problem.
