Speaking of which - are they any closer to switching sides of the Rainbow Valley Bridge yet? It seems that they poured the final layer of concrete back in April....

Should be close. More of the scaffolding below the west direction was gone this morning. And they are ramping up work on the eastern direction.

I think they’re trying to get as much work done on the SUP before switching over due to ease of access from the current bridge deck. Should still be on track for end of 2026 completion

Looks like the ground at the northbound Terwillegar bridge at Henday is being dug up in preparation for the pilings and abutments.

The lanes have been marked on the westbound Whitemud bridge. I'm guessing that traffic will shift on Tuesday.

They poured the deck for the new pedestrian bridge. Looks good to open by the end of the year, couldn’t get any pics because it’s a death zone driving there
