It seems 'progressive' or red state vs blue state just modifies the level of crazy down there.
It seems part of the documents found in his vehicle targetted law makers who were n favour of abortion rights. So, respond to something you consider murder by committing murder. Makes sense to me.

To be clear, I did not mention Red versus Blue here. Rather for a Democrat leaning state it's fairly progressive. And fairly progressive by US standards in that.

In the US the red state/blue state thing is less of a factor than urban/rural divide.

Yeah having spent 20 years on the minnesota border, it can be quite the stark difference between Duluth/Twin Cities and the rest of the state. It was a lot more blue before Trump however.

I'm baffled by all the Canadians (usually on the right) who insist there are not cultural differences between Canada and the US. The differences are palpable when I go there.
