Trump says anybody who protests the military parade on Saturday in DC will be met with “very heavy force”, and that if other cities riot, they will be met with ''equal or greater force'' than LA response.
The obligatory, "That's really rich coming from you, Mr. President..." /sigh

There are multiple protests planned that day across the country for "No Kings Day"

Breaking news: The Trump administration is planning a major increase of deportations to Guantánamo, including citizens of Britain, France and other allies.Officials said they are unlikely to inform the foreigners’ home governments about the transfers.

I'm sure that will have everyone wanting to make deals with them..

Likely a planted story (theatre)..

Bare with me.........the stories would have you believe that up to 9,000 people might be transferred.

I can make a flat-out statement right now, there is zero chance.

The base has nowhere near the space/people to handle that. I can't say it couldn't be done in time............but it can't be done now or close to now.

They did set up a tent structure to hold up to 3,000 people when there were previous musings about sending a surge of 'illegals' there.

They only ever got a few hundred...........and those were later sent back to Louisiana or other sites within the continental U.S.

They may well send a few folks over, just to say they did.......strange notion an admin wanting seemingly bad publicity, but they clear do want just that.

To be clear, I don't endorse this in any way, nor do I wish to diminish the trauma for anyone to whom it actually happens.

But what the story suggests is likely is simply not feasible barring one hell of a well kept secret.

Not every crop lends itself to the same degree of automation. But Ontario has become a leader in greenhouse tomatoes too, and field tomatoes in the U.S. are among the most migrant intensive crops.
And after Heinz pulled out of the Leamington area a decade ago; a leader in greenhouse strawberries. Ontario strawberries are now available almost all year round (and in the middle of February, still taste better than US/Mexico imports).
