It actually came out today!

Westrich broke my heart with their $10,150 donation to Cartmell's campaign ;-; I can't find the disclosures for Better Edmonton, so for all I know they could have donated another $10,150 to them as well. All for a guy who is so disingenuous that he literally claimed on CBC Radio that the city is "building a bike lane along the yelloehead with a 12-foot high concrete divider." [It's just a shared use path with a new noise wall to replace the old noise wall. And he compared it to an example of "good" active transportation development... the shared path along Terwillegar.]

I thought max was $5,000 but I see Westrich management gave 5k and Westrich construction gave 5k and then another donation by Westrich Pacific.

I did a quick google search of some of the people donating $1000+ to Cartmell and a lot are realtors or executives within those listed companies, according to their LinkedIn profiles.

Honest question though: How do these companies realistically expect to get a return with a Cartmell mayorship? How might an Edmonton mayor repay these bri -ahem- “donations”?
