Art has been added to both entrances of the bridge, and at least some of the lighting is in place. When I was there, the bridge was well used by pedestrians, cyclists, folks towing luggage, etc. There was space for everyone, and good site lines. Photos taken Sunday June 29.
Looking south. Some of the lights appear to be not working, and one set is a different colour of bulb. Utility markings on the road and sidewalk are out of the shot; sure hope it's simply repairs...

Still looking south. Two photos of the bird graphics have been applied to the entrance. Graffiti has been cleaned up.

The ramp on the north side of Bloor, west of the bridge. Didn't see anybody using the ramp, but I wasn't there for very long. Maybe some directional signage would be helpful?

Glen Rd entrance to TTC. I used the Pano setting on the camera so it's a bit distorted.

I just noticed some bubbling on the surface of the bridge, and in some places the asphalt, or whatever it is, is broken. It is a trip hazard in a few places. I hope these is a warranty on the work! I used 311 to report and sent these photos.

I already have a response to the 311 report that I made at 5:53pm today. 311 sent an email at 8:34pm:

Then at 8:35pm, 311 sent another email.

I went out to check, and the bubbles and cracks are still there.

After some off-UT discussions....

Email the project team directly,

GlenRoadBridge@toronto.ca

The project is still in its warranty period, so the City should be fine w/insisting the contractor remedy the problem.

Edit to add: Make note in your email of the trip hazard, but also, note possible liability due to slip and fall when this condition could be obscured by snow. So its urgent to fix it before winter.

Sounds like 311 is broken. Can you submit a 311 about 311?
Like many you are confused by 311. VERY misleadingly, 311 marks a request as "Completed'; when THEY have passed it along to someone else to actually fix. I have tried several times to try to get them to change their wording but no luck - so far! 311 does 'nothing' except act as 'switching centre' for problem reports and questions. A vital role that they do quite well but if one reports a problem it is NOT "completed' just because 311 have sent it off to some other City silo.

Thanks for the information. Yes, the wording is very misleading and should be changed!
