I went out to check, and the bubbles and cracks are still there.
That's how 3-1-1 works - I've been reporting that one of the local laneways is blocked by dumped tree branches and construction material since June, with circular responses like this.

311 does not actually fix anything - it is a referral service. Yes, they have the stupid note "Completed" but this means THEY have sent a complaint to an 'operational division" like SWM or Transportation NOT that the problem is solved.

After some off-UT discussions....

Email the project team directly,

GlenRoadBridge@toronto.ca

The project is still in its warranty period, so the City should be fine w/insisting the contractor remedy the problem.

Edit to add: Make note in your email of the trip hazard, but also, note possible liability due to slip and fall when this condition could be obscured by snow. So its urgent to fix it before winter.

I'd copy Cllr Saxe's office as well.

Though when I phone back a month later, they always have the story of why it wasn't done (couldn't find, private property (it isn't), etc., etc.).

It used to be you phoned the works department (or whoever it was), and spoke to a real person who'd say - oh that odd little bit of lane. We'll put some asphalt down to fix soon - and they did.
