In any decently run organization, Customer Service Operations (including CSAs) are part of Revenue Service Demonstration testing. As I posted in the Eglinton thread, this is only for CSAs and not operators.

Sure.In any decently run organization, Customer Service Operations (including CSAs) are part of Revenue Service Demonstration testing.
Well, I have a surprise for you then....I don't think CSAs have their own independent RSD, I think it's a project wide event.
Operators will be starting the demonstration also.As I posted in the Eglinton thread, this is only for CSAs and not operators.

Finch West LRT about to enter final test, could open to public next month - Toronto | Globalnews.ca
Provincial transit agency Metrolinx, which has led the construction and testing of the line, confirmed the final stage of tests would commence in the 'coming days.'globalnews.ca
Yes it's highly naive and ignorant to be saying it'll open by October 20th. Assuming the process for Line 6 is the same as Line 5, then there is a 14 day certification period after Revenue Service Demo is done. A bedding period of up to 90 days will follow after said certification period after which the line is considered Substantially Complete 100% as opposed to 99.9% like Eglinton has been stuck in since the dawn of time. We may be looking at anywhere between 45 to 134 days between September 20th and opening. Although I hope it opens sooner, I wouldn't hold my breath. This thing aint opening in October that's for sure.
If you look at the screenshot I cited from the internal powerpoint, it appears that there is overlap, but that the bedding-in will in fact start before full revenue service. The bedding period seems to be after revenue service begins, so it's not entirely relevant for opening.
It is, in fact, standard practice in Toronto and all of Ontario now since the report on the public inquiry into the Ottawa LRT.ECLRT perhaps, but I don't think it's standard practice. I don't have a scedule for FLWRT but other ones I have, don't feature a lengthy bedding in period after RSD and before revenue service.
