The geese really control that hood right now. I was driving through a few weeks back, and they had all set up camp on the lanes of one of the roundabouts and they seemed very burdened to be asked to move out of my way.Fire hall

They're funny! When I approach them, they'll walk a few steps to the side in one big herd, but then walk toward me hissing. I just beg them to make up their minds; are you moving, or standing your ground?! hahaThe geese really control that hood right now. Potentially a dumb question, but why is MU listed 3 times?View attachment 666578
Folks - we've got a rezoning application coming for about half of the Blatchford Market area! I hope they can get this one in on a Public Hearing before the election, but that's probably tight...
These are the only details I have, but it looks like they are using the general Mixed Use zone and not a Blatchford specific zone. I think this is good as long as everything is still connected to the district energy system, since the real efficiency of the system comes from having a balance of building types connected.
Maybe different height allowances?Potentially a dumb question, but why is MU listed 3 times?
Makes sense. Although I hope they don't put too many restrictions on any of the heights there.Maybe different height allowances?
Where did you find that?View attachment 666628
Oh, here we go! Found the answer to why there are 3 MUs.
Honestly, mostly just playing around with the City’s maps website on my phone and stumbled on it… here’s a link to the pdf: https://webdocs.edmonton.ca/infraplan/Zoning/bylaws/ApplicationMaps/596953069-002.pdfWhere did you find that?

Unfortunately there’s very little chance it will, the agendas are packed full.I hope they can get this one in on a Public Hearing before the election, but that's probably tight...
