Well, historically it's West Toronto or West Toronto Junction (to the northwest) and the area on the east side of the rail station north of Bloor is the Junction Triangle.

Locals have traditionally referred to "The Junction" - which most precisely refers to the Dundas/Keele intersection and the business district along Dundas from Dupont to about Runnymede.

If you wanted to be artsy/Metrolinkish you could invent a name like Wallace Commons.

There is also the proximity to indigenous pathways whose names deserve to be blended in eventually (e.g. Jane/Eglinton or Jane/Bloor could easily be named Teaiagon or even Carrying Place, rather than having a second Jane Station)

I like "Teaiagon" and it's meaning. That would be a lovely name for that station.

I'd rather each station of the TTC and GO have a unique name and don't feel we need to stick with what we've sort of sometimes usually done. Makes it far easier for newbies & tourists, and anytime one would want to be parsimonious with their words and/or clear/concise with their directions.

Teiaiagon was a bit too far to fit for Dundas West/Bloor. The name would work better for a station near Jane on the Milton line, should one ever be built.

I wouldn't mind a station name tied to our history, even if it's not specifically relevant to the immediate area. Naming public infrastructure after historical figures seems destined to fall out of fashion, but there are other national and civic achievements we could look to that could be suitable. Just pulling from recent news, I'm surprised we don't have anything commemorating Wageningen, for example.

Another raft of solutions for a non-existent problem. It's been called Dundas West for decades and everyone managed to find it. It's on the map and the map is on everyone's phone. You would have to be very, very stupid or completely illiterate to be unable to find it.
At least Teiaiagon fits on a street sign, vs Ethennonnhawahstihnen

It's a good thing that we can order a pizza on an app and everyone uses Google maps these days. I would both hate being the guy giving his address over the phone and being the guy that has to spell that on the delivery ticket.

Tried to check out railpath for first time sunday night. Many people walking over this fence with us

Tried? or Succeeded?

Photos?

Or in Yoda speak:

Do or Do Not, there is no try!

Photos you took, photos you share.

As pointed out in today's UT News Roundup -
cbc.ca - Tunnel connecting UP Express to TTC's Dundas West station under construction after long delay
Metrolinx said it doesn't have a set opening date for the tunnel yet, but "construction continues to move forward, with such work as elevator shafts and staircases well underway, and major excavation to begin in the coming months." ...

On Monday, several travellers at UP Express Bloor Station told CBC Toronto that transfer signage was unclear...
That sense of confusion is a common complaint about the current set-up ..
"you're not really sure where you're going if you haven't done it before."
That wall painting always makes me think of this.
