For the Randolph connection and the 4th track, the contractor is already 6-8 weeks behind the project schedule published on Oct 9th!

We're 17 days into "Winter" 2025 and the pavilion is several weeks from finishing which means the 4th track can't be laid through the station.

Fall 2025 runs to December 21, Winter runs to March 21.. that’s what those terms mean. The high tomorrow is 20 degrees, it’s not 17 days into winter 😂

Not laying the track through the platform itself is not a big holdup, as that short segment could be done quickly.... but once the temperature falls and the ground starts to freeze, it's possible that constructing the track from the station down to Strachan could pause until spring. I don't know what temp would be used as the threshold, but both grading and laying rail aren't usually done in subzero weather.

For that matter, if things fall behind up at St Clair, the track will remain severed further west.
